Free Audio Editor exists because editing a voice memo should not mean uploading it to somebody else's server. Every tool here — the trimmer, cutter, joiner and the rest — runs the same way: your browser reads the file, edits it in memory, and writes the result straight back to your disk.

That architecture is also why the tools are fast and free. There is no upload queue, no processing farm, and no storage bill — just your device doing the work it is already good at.

The site is built as a static web app with the Web Audio API. It is actively developed, with converters, a voice recorder and more editing tools on the way.
